Flexibility
Reflection:
As a counselor-in-training, I have learned that flexibility is essential to providing effective and ethical care. Each client brings unique experiences, needs, and perspectives, which require me to adapt my approach rather than rely on a one-size-fits-all mindset. Through coursework, supervision, and clinical experiences, I have become more comfortable navigating ambiguity, adjusting to unexpected challenges, and considering multiple perspectives before making decisions.
I also strive to remain open to feedback, new information, and opportunities for growth, recognizing that flexibility allows me to better meet clients where they are. As I continue developing as a counselor, I hope to strengthen my ability to adapt to diverse situations, embrace change, and respond thoughtfully to the evolving needs of the clients I serve.
